The Minority Welfare Department has invited applications for the Margadeepam Scholarship for the financial year 2024-25. Students belonging to minority communities studying in government/aided schools in Kerala from classes 1 to 8 can apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship Highlights:
Eligibility: Students belonging to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi communities can apply.
Last Date to Apply: March 15, 2024, till 5 PM.
Scholarship Amount: ₹1500.
Income Limit: The family’s annual income should not exceed ₹2,50,000.
Reservation for Girls: 30% of the scholarships are reserved for girls. If there are no female applicants, boys will be considered.

The institution head must ensure that the student details are accurately recorded on the portal. Additionally, the institution is responsible for verifying and securely storing all necessary documents of the applicants for future reference.
